During Sunday’s season two premiere of I am Cait, former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner had a rather few choice statements to make about Hillary Clinton’s support of women and the transgender community.
Jenner, a fiercely loyal supporter of Ted Cruz and the Republican hysteria machine, can be seen in the following video arguing with her friends about Hillary Clinton’s willingness to help women, even going so far as to say, “She could care less about women. She only cares about herself.”
Given Jenner’s dedication to transgender issues, her political views have often been questioned, especially in light of the fact that historically, Republican supporters and candidates tend to skew heavily toward homophobia and intolerance.
When asked which Republican candidates openly support transgender issues and women, she responded vaguely by saying, “All of them. They don’t hate gays or trans people.”
Hmm…perhaps Jenner should peruse the Republican sponsored Family Research Council’s recent booklet titled, “Top Ten Myths About Homosexuality.” In it, you’ll find plenty of gems like this:
The “myths” included that “homosexual conduct is not harmful to one’s physical health,” “children raised by homosexuals are no different than children raised by heterosexuals, nor do they suffer harm,” “homosexual relationships are just the same as heterosexual ones, except for the gender of the partners,” and, maybe the worst, “homosexuals are no more likely to molest children than heterosexuals.”
I guess some people never learn, even when the truth is staring them right in the face.
